TV audience viewing time decreased after the first COVID wave at the beginning of the year. News, Game shows and Series remain the favorite TV genres for Vietnamese audience in 4 cities, however, those genres have been impacted during 2020.

Meanwhile, the internet usage keeps growing. We have seen an increase in penetration and time spent using the internet during the current year, primarily coming from smartphone devices. Apps used to remain connected with friends and family, music and entertainment (games, music and online video) are the preferred choice. Entertainment and information are the leading topics of interest when using the Internet.
